Don't Give Flowers What To Give Hostess and Host Instead

I have hosted my share of parties ~ hosting 4 people to 500+ people, attending tons and have photo styled parties for magazines & brands for 3 decades. Sooooo, I do LOVE me a party.
When I’m going to party and bringing a host gift, I always think either ~ what would he/she love, but probably not buy for themselves? OR what do they use a ton of when entertaining that would be nice if it was gifted to them? (I know I always appreciate those kinds of gifts.)
PRE-GIFTING TIPS
▪︎ If you have attended a party person has hosted before, take cues. What beverages, food, dinnerware, decor, activities, hobbies do they like?
▪︎ If they tell you what will be served at party, take cues from that for the hostess/host gift you bring.
▪︎ Style it up! Wrap it pretty! We receive gifts visually first. I always go for the style, surprise & delight! Make it pretty ~ make it fun.
▪︎ Add a note. Sometimes the hosts has many guests and gets so much they forget. Show your appreciation for the invite with a nice, handwritten little note.
Skip the wine, liquor & flowers, gift these instead.
