Love Lately Fall Gathering Entertaining Edit

We talked about Fall entertaining tips for having a fun, festive, organized and stress-free party.  Here are some of the fall festivities items and food I have my eye on for upcoming fall parties.  It's such a fun time to host parties from the inside to the outside where you can enjoy the crisp air and the beautiful fall leaves.

FALL TABLETOP & FOOD

I’m looking at these place card holders that can be used for either seating names or can be used in a buffet to describe food.  These napkins are my go-to’s. They are super soft, yet have a good thickness to them.  I’m all about the “using this for that” for both the styling I do for brands and at home.  I’m likin’ this ice bucket to use for a fall floral arrangement OR for fall branches instead of for ice.  Bringing the outdoors in with beautiful fall branches with leaves can be an easy arrangement to bring together.

I always like to use different and unique color palettes, but for fall I tend to go traditonal with shades of amber and these glass tumblers fit that fall palette I'm going for.  Love that these tumblers are available in both short and tall.  Going back to what we talked about in 20 Tips for Fall Entertaining on tables capes, you want to have your arrangement/decor at a level that is good for conversations and not too high.  Instead of using these as drinking glasses, I'm going to use them as part of my centerpiece and place both candles and florals them.  Always think of different uses.  

COZY FALL HOME

When entertaining, I create little vignettes of coziness with furniture and plenty of pillows and blankets for comfort.  Got my eye on the Luxe Mink Faux Fur Throw from Restoration Hardware and the Jenni Kayne alpaca basketweave pillow.  

FALL FLORAL FRESHNESS

Can’t forget the freshness and scents. For parties (& everyday) I spread the seasonal flowers and freshness throughout the home.  For the bathroom in parties I use Jo Malone liquid soap.  But the beautiful scent of english pear and freesia bar is a great in season scent to have.  I try to go with themes and scents of the season ~ fall.  Same goes for florals, I go with the season and then add some of my favorites within the arrangement.  (& in fall I always love to add big, tall branches into vases.  Every season I check into Farmgirl for a little inpso. They have a seasonal shop. This arrangement is beautiful.

FALL PARTY WEAR FASHION

If it's a casual gathering with friends, I'm going for casual warm and cozy neutral colored from Jenni Kayne and if it's a seated dinner, I'm going with Alex Perry.
