Trailblazing with Zimmermann Fall 2026 Collection
Oct 01, 2026
Love the Zimmermann Fall Collection. Every collection is just so beautiful. You can always count of them to bring femininity, lace, flowers and a little edge. Love that juxtaposition of their collections. Living in New England and bracing for those storms and cold weather soon to arrive, we oftentimes think we have to bundle up with dark, heavy coats. Zimmerman inspires me that it doesn't have to be that way. Love that we see elements of fall in the collection with a bit of heavy fabrics in some of the designs ~ but we see those flowers just blooming through the collection as well ~ adding lightness and joy in what can be a "heavy-er" season ~ for us here in the North ;) End of summer does not mean end of flowers.
Zimmermann presents collections and take us through their thoughts, their inspiration, their emotion ~ their STORY of the collection . As described by Zimmermann on their Fall Trailblazer Collection . . .
"Inspired by trailblazing women who redefined what was possible for future generations, Fall 26 channels a spirit of confidence, joy, and grit. Utility emerges in uniform-inspired sets and jumpsuits, a nod to female mechanics and aviators. Feminine silhouettes play with masculine references in fluid dresses crafted from men’s silk scarves, lace-trimmed suiting, and lingerie as outer layers."

Creative Director, Nicky Zimmerman shares where her inspiration came from ~
Fall 2026 is inspired by Australian women during the 1920s, who rewrote the rules at a time of great social change. She looked to inspiring woman (including her own grandmother) who guided the vision and meaning behind the collection. She found references to the first women’s cricket teams in Australia, and the team photos she thought were just brilliant — cheeky, full of life, and joy.
"I’ve embraced their spirit of risk-taking, attitude of unfussy practicality, and the cheeky humour that came through their stories and their images.”
"Cheeky, Full of Life, and Joy."

These pieces I believe are example of Zimmermann's juxtaposition between the feminine and masculine detail of leather gloves ~ as well as the cheeky.
