Animal Print Fashion That Whispers Not Roars

Apr 30, 2026

Some of the biggest fashion designers have fully embraced animal prints and patterns.  For decades animal print has been “in fashion”.  Roberto Cavalli is synonymous with animal print. Over the years, the prints have been designed into luxury and refined elegance.  Every season it’s said:  “animal print is back”.  But, did it ever really leave? I think the print just got more sophisticated. Many fashion designers interpretation and design pieces are classic and investment pieces.  The print transcends each fashion season.

Want to try animal print this season ~ but you don’t want your look to ROAR ~ you want it to be more of a whisper.  I get that.  I’m right there with you.  Confession:  I literally have one animal print piece. That’s it.  So, I’m going to be getting a few pieces this season, but will be leaning more into quiet luxury instead of full-blown “here I come” with my bold animal pattern statement. I’m liking the understated and delicate look and size of a fawn print.
