Love Lately Lifestyle Home, Food and Fashion Finds
Apr 18, 2026
As a Photo Stylist and Creative Director I'm always researching and keepin' an eye out for what’s new, exciting, fun and fresh! From the luxury to the whimsical we share them in our Love Lately Weekly Feature. While sourcing, researching and purchasing, here is what I found this week across the lifestyle market of home, food and fashion.
SUNSHINE, LEMONS AND SEA SALT
Been a Donna Hay fan for a long time. Her new book Sunshine, Lemons and Sea Salt is described as fresh, sun-drenched and zingy summer food made for sharing. Featuring vibrant seasonal produce, delicious flavors and easy cooking ~ its a celebration of modern coastal home cooking. Donna also shares “styling secrets that will bring some breezy, beach-side magic to your table.” Donna had me at vibrant seasonal produce. I have chatted about it over the last couple week ~ I LOVE going to the Farmer Markets to get our vegetables and herbs (to grow) AND I’m a lover of ALL things Citrus. Have a Pinterest board devoted to all things lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit . . .
BRING ON THE SUMMER SHIMMER
Lovin’ this summer outfit from Zara. Perfect for a semi-casual summer night out. A littl’ shimmer skirt and lightweight sweater can be dressed up with some strappy heals or with sneakers. There was a time when I always wore dresses with paillettes. I kinda gravitated to other styles. But, this sequin mini skirt popped out to me. (Love that they are pailette sequins. Sequins are stitched down a garment fabric, but paillettes are usually attached via a hole at the top and it dangles and has movement. I like that movement ~ its fun!
MR. HAPPY ROCK OF LOVE
I do like to add touches of whimsy to decor, parties and gifts. Kerry Rosenthal always brings the whimsey, colorful, joyful and fun! Mr. Happy Rock of Love is a perfect example. Known for her colorful original art and home decor, this is a must visit online and offline boutique! I have gone to her flagship store in Westport, Connecticut. It’s full of live, love and happiness. Hearts, smiles and everything in between. Happiness is the ultimate luxury is her motto. So true, right?!
BEVERAGES ON THE GO
This Fieldbar drinks box is a hard case cooler box. Love that they describe themselves as “Safari Engineered”. Going on to say . . . "remote safari camps have always needed outdoor products that are elegantly simple, technically excellent, sustainable durable and conveniently portable." LOVE that ~ how perfect does that sound? They also have a Gin Truck and this coordinating drink box swing sling! This spring and summer I will be going on multi-day prop sourcing trips, these would be perfect to travel with for beverages. (although, no gin for me!)
MAKING ARTISAN FRENCH BREAD
Williams Sonoma has the best in-store cooking and baking classes on Sunday mornings. I’m off tomorrow to attend their “Making Artisan French Bread at Home” class. The Food Stylist in me loves classes like these. (Sometimes they do recipes, sometimes techniques) This class features bread baking using the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer. Took me a minute to use my air fryer on a regular basis, now I use it often. I’m thinking bruschetta & bread and Panzanella Salad is in my future on my Casa Zuma Wooden Bowls. Oh, & also french toast. Ever since I had Cheesecake Factory’s french toast made with french bread, that’s the way I make it.
