Love Lately Farmers Vegetable Market Edit

May 30, 2026

It’s Summer farmers market time!  I’m going to the Market at least 3 times a week to get all those beautiful fresh vegetables.  Have Caprese Salad, Panzanella Salad and Santa Fe Salad with roasted corn on repeat every week!  (Check out our make on repeat recipes with bread.) There is nothing like summer tomatoes.  While I get all kinds of vegetables there ~ it’s the tomatoes that are the highlight for me.  If you ever had a tomato in the Northeast in Winter, you get it.  Not great.  While I do go to the Market, I grow all my own herbs. Doubling up on the basil, cuz, well, the tomatoes, right?! What herb goes better with those than basil.

I’m inspired by all the Farmers Market Lifestyle items from home, food and fashion.  Here are some of my “Love Lately-s”.

VEGETABLES & FRUIT FASHION

I’m seeing a lot of produce inspired fashion lately.  Leo Lin has a bustier mini harvest dress and Anthropologie has a strawberry dress and a tomato swimsuit.  (Got my eye on that Strawberry Dress for upcoming strawberry picking at the Farm next month in June.  As I told you in Romantic and Artistic Magnolia Pearl Fashion, I tend to get infused in the vibe of where I going and what I’m doing. ;) )

VEGETABLE TABLETOP

It's great to add some summer sunshine to our tables. Why not go totally in with the vegetable vibe?  These are some tabletop items I’m lovin’: tomato salt and pepper shakers , vegetable linen napkins and veggie grid tablecloth.  I really have always loved that red and pink palette combo. It just makes the pieces more playful.  And if you're going all in with the vibe ~ these garden vegetable plates would be perfect.

Came across this Botaniculture tomato leaf candle.  This is different.  This for the true-blue tomato lover, right?!?

MARKET TOTE

Gotta get a great basket to carry all those great market finds!  If you’re going the traditional route, the market tote is great with all the compartments.  While I’m still loving me the gingham tote in Gingham Lifestyle in Fashion, Home Decor and Tabletop Style.  It’s big and roomy.  But, I’m love this one from Heirloom Art Co for the beauty, sturdiness and size!

LET’S GET COOKIN'!

Told you my “on repeat” recipes, but always open to some new market fresh options.   I’m thinking Tomatoes Cookbook and A Grain, A Green, A Bean.

EVERYTHINGS COMING UP (VEGETABLES)

The Lifestyle Stylist in me, can’t help but notice that brands are using a farmers market vegetable vibes in their brand and marketing.  Love it!  Like the one with tomatoes and this one with cabbage.
